Location and convenience.
At check in time, staff made us wait in the lobby for 30+ minutes for the sheets to dry. Room was not ready. Staff were not friendly. Hair dryer produced smoke and malfunctioned. I left a note in the room so they will replace it for the next guest.

Booking didn't give the motel my name or contact number and then the motel charge all 9 rooms to my credit card instead of charging each individual party as agreed.

The place is upgraded, the staff are very knowledgeable.
The breakfast is free, with youghurt, waffles and also toast...

Room was nice and comfortable, very clean. Staff was attentive and courteous.
Property was older and a little worn but very clean. No amenities though- pool, exercise equipment, and no bathroom amenities, like shampoo and conditioner.

Breakfast was simple, 2 kinds of cereal, milk, coffee, yogurt, bread for toast and waffle. Apple and orange juices were also provided but did taste rotten sour.
Staff were very stingy and gives an attitude when it comes to towels ( there were 3 of us but only 2 towels in the room). We were with young child and had requested for 2 extra pillows for cushioning during booking. We arrived with no extra pillows and after asking for them, we got a big unhappy face and only was able to get one.

The worst bed I've ever slept on, with a huge sag in the middle. The room was way over priced ($85.00) . I will never risk staying at a Days Inn again.

The area was okay, and there was parking space close to our room.
Before our arrival, I called Days Inn to ask some information. The person who answered the phone - who might have been the owner, because he was there all the time during our stay and he is the only person we dealt with - spoke extremely broken English and was rude and unhelpful. When we finally arrived at Taos, late at night, there was a mix-up with our rooms (I booked a room for 3 people - as I have always done for rooms in motels like this one, and that always means that there are 2 beds in the room), but the room apparently only had 1 bed. Naturally, I asked what could be done to help the situation, but the guy kept repeating "No Changes, No Cancellations!" and "Take it to Booked.net if you have complaints!". He was so rude, that at some point he closed the window of his desk and shouted at us "No Room! You are getting No Room!" Imagine my desperation, as a traveller from Greece was suddenly found herself in Taos, late at night, with "no room!" without telling us if we would be charged the full amount or not. He kept telling us that we cannot change our reservation, but he ended up making us pay more to put us in a room with 2 beds... I have never had such a horrible experience at an Inn. When we finally got to our room, the door had no lock, and it was half-broken at the place where the lock should have been! Also, while it clearly stated that it was a Non-Smoking Room, the smell of smoke was extremely strong and annoying. Finally, breakfast included little more than coffee and plain bread. All in all, I would strongly discourage anyone from ever choosing this Motel. I still cannot get over his rudeness.

Convenient location.
Couldn't find an employee to check out. Rang several times and waited 10 mns. for someone to show up.

nothing was great or wonderful.
I was not impressed with the manager? owner? Not nice. Breakfast Horrible. Motel old..could use update. Had to stay two nights we booked. over the internet..and the manager couldn't make changes. I thought we we used a credit card..it was to hold the room...not necessarily pay for the room.

I love the waffle machine!
The breakfast bar was uninviting and had limited choices. There were some old apples, no bananas, and it was located in a dark, dreary little corner. The coffee tasted like mud.

Encountered shocking unprofessionalism . Despite being a loyal member with kids asleep in the car, the front desk staff argued about room rates and refused to accommodate us when we were willing to pay extra charges. Ultimately, they suggested we stay elsewhere and left us with no option but to sleep in our car for an hour before driving home. The experience was frustrating and confusing, especially after other pleasant stays at different hotels on my trip.

The rooms with 2 beds. Breakfast with waffles and toast, as for instance. Favourable and unbeatable location, around 10-15 minutes walk from a fine art gallery. Outstandingly accommodating staffs, gave a few recommendations.

Clean room with new flat screen tv with Directv. Typical older motel room. Was great for 2 guys who only needed a place to sleep while skiing.
Continental breakfast was a little marginal. Make your own waffle with waffle iron, cereal or yogurt and that was about it. Coffee or juice. Some late night door slamming at about 3 am.

There were some nice spots to relax, like the cozy seating area in the lobby and the little outdoor patio. The breakfast was pretty basic, but it's a good deal for the price 😊
